Meet the Kariara Voters' Choice Hon Warui George Kiguru: Who is he and Why is he Vying for the Ward MCA Seat?
Hon George Warui Kiguru has thrown his hat into the ring and is now 2022 candidate for MCA seat in Kariara Ward, Murang'a County.

George Warui Kiguru is a family man married to a beautiful wife with whom they've got three lovely school-going kids, a career accountant with a strong background in banking and insurance industries, and a philanthropist engaged in various community activities within Kariara Ward.
Warui was born fifth - in the family of George Kiguru Thuo of 'Mbari ya Thuo' belonging to the Agaciku Clan - at Mbugiti Location in Kariara Ward where he grew up and attended school.
He went to the neighbouring Mbugiti Primary School, then Thika High School and finally Mbugiti High School, before proceeding to KCA University where he studied accounting.
In 2017, Warui's life would, however, take what he terms as a 'major turning point' following the sudden and saddening demise of his dear mother which consequently saw him assume the responsibility of caring for his elderly dad and a brother living with disability.
He dutifully continues with this noble initiative to this date with the help of his other equally caring siblings.

In Mbugiti High, for instance, he was the School Captain and while at KCA he served as the university's Christian Union Organizing Secretary, an affirmation of his strong christian background and upbringing.
Warui George Kiguru is running for Kariara Ward MCA seat because as, he says, he wants to champion for an all-inclusive development that's non-discriminatory, one that leaves no one behind.

And in the same spirit, I won't disappoint you my great people of Kariara Ward in this new undertaking because mine will be a dedicated, selfless servant leadership. He is confident enough that this is not only achievable, but he is the man to make it happen. And to be sure that Warui is not punching above his weight, his past and current leadership profile, undoubtedly speaks for itself.

As you read this, he is coordinating a sponsorship of three needy students, one in Makuyu Girls, the second in Ng'araria High and the other one in Michuki Institute.
Warui also championed for the revamping of Mbugiti Polytechnic through mobilizing funds from Mbugiti in Diaspora Forum and managed to raise Sh800,000.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Warui has mobilized all sorts of help for many families in Mbugiti Location again through Mbugiti in Diaspora Forum. This has included assisting families to give their dear ones dignified burials, and helping clear astronomical hospital bills.
In conclusion, Hon Warui George Kiguru declares: "I am more than ready to take the mantle of leadership in Kariara Ward. I am ready for the ups and downs that come with elective office.
