In 2015, reports emerged that Kalonzo Musyoka's helicopter was burning as it fell.

The Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) had hired the luxurious helicopter for campaigns in the brink of their 2015 general election.

In a statement, The Tanzania Civil Aviation Authority (TCAA) reported that a CCM member Mr. Deo Filikunjombe was killed during the crash together with Kasablanka Haule, Egid Mkwela, and Captain William Silaa.

The wiper party leader helicopter was a single-engine light utility helicopter that was designed by the reputable France manufacturer and designer AĆ©rospatiale and Eurocopter.

In line with a Wikipedia publication, the Eurocopter must have cost Kalonzo Musyoka a price north of Ksh 1.4 billion. It comes with a three-blade main rotor that allows it to navigate high-altitude without seeping a stretched performance.

An excellent feature of the helicopter is that it allows the passengers to share a conversation since it is fitted with an in-cabin noise reduction.

The helicopter is highly used by medical institutions because it can easily be started up and shut down.

It shouldn't go without saying that the helicopter is fitted with hydraulically-assisted flight controls which help in trimming down the potential risk in the event of a hydraulic failure.
