Machakos governor Alfred Mutua has promised to humiliate Kalonzo in the upcoming Machakos by-election slated for March 23, 2021.

A gazette notice by the Independent and Boundaries Commission dated Tuesday communicated that the by-election will take place in March 2021 following the death of senator Boniface Kabaka.

With the IEBC instructing political parties to field their candidates before January 4, 2021, the leader of Chama cha Maendeleo Chapchap has spoken over his interest to front Mutua Katuku. He has termed Katuku as a mature leader who has got a fresh vigor of political might.

He conveyed that 2020 has been a strange year that has dented the nation with Covid-19 which has seen our wobbly economy stagger.

The Machakos governor has blamed the Ministry of Health for the poor health establishments that sprawl the nation. He's criticized them for their lapse in enhancing health care in the country, a loophole that has led to the rich traveling abroad to seek medical attention as the poor are left to fight for their lives under crude conditions.

He further added that his party will slather their presence across the country by fielding candidates in every by-election.
