'Ruto is Racing Without a Relay Baton' and All Else Murathe Said During the Citizen TV Interview - Recap
President Uhuru Kenyatta's chief henchman David Murathe was on Tuesday evening interviewed by Citizen TV's Waihiga Mwaura where he spoke on a variety of issues that are currently at the top of Kenya's political chart.
Some of the issues that Murathe whose voice is virtually considered to be Uhuru's, include but not limited to, the KEMSA scandal in which he is mentioned as a beneficiary and Tony Gachoka's allegations on the same.
The Uhuru's minion and face of the 'deep state' in Kenya, also spoke in depth about Deputy President William Ruto and Uhuru's 2022 succession politics where he publicly endorsed ODM leader Raila Odinga.
Below is just a recap of what Murathe said word-for-word in regard to the aforementioned topics.
...On KEMSA Scandal
We have the legal transfers, go to Kenya Commercial Bank and find out who the account holders of KILIG Limited are; you will find that they are known partners of DP William Ruto.

We are demanding that everybody who has spoken about this KEMSA issue and the ‘COVID billionaires’ should be summoned by the parliamentary committees on health to say how much has been stolen, who stole it and the evidence they have that can help the investigating agencies.
What is being called a scandal is doing so much harm to this country. When everybody goes talking about corruption in the health sector they are affecting millions of other programs which are supported by our international partners.
...On Tony Gachoka
The less said about Tonny the better, everybody knows the history of Tonny Gachoka. Tonny’s family and my family were both in the wines and spirits business, Tonny ran down the family business.
I partner with Willbroad Gachoka in a lot of issues but I have not partnered with him on this one.
...On DP William Ruto
I do not have a personal issue with the Deputy President.
The Deputy President knows that the feud between him and I when it comes to business started when he brokered for a company that quoted Sh3B more than the lowest evaluated bidder for a project in Ukambani.
When the Party Leader expresses himself on an issue that is the party position and if he (DP Ruto) doesn’t like it he should ship out.
...On Uhuru 2022 Succession
I’m calling on Kenyans to consider the Right Honorable Former Prime Minister as the transitional leader come 2022.
In 2022 there will be new political formations and I’m hoping we will be on the same side with the Rt Hon. Former Prime Minister as Jubilee. I know the ‘Tuko sote pamoja’ wing may have other ideas and that’s why we are saying the sooner they ship out the better.
President Kenyatta will not endorse a successor in 2022 poll, Ruto is racing without a relay baton.
