The Day That Left Uhuru's Tattered Legacy in Ruin and Forever Engraved in Infamy

There is no doubt in the mind of any sane and patriotic Kenyan that Monday, August 15, 2022 will forever remain engraved in infamy.

This is following the botched attempt by a rejected and thrice-humiliated despot hellbent on subverting the will of the people in a last bid to force an octogenarian puppet down their throats.

Uhuru Kenyatta, having failed to even convince his own villagers to vote for his project (Raila Odinga) to succeed him, on this day, he resorted to his most dangerous card in a series of backfired attempts to salvage his anointed muppet at the ballot.

Just like in all the other aborted and subversive machinations witnessed throughout the vote verification process at the Bomas of Kenya, this one would not only boomerang badly on the faces of its plotters, but would also leave their underbellies reeking of desperation, evil and greed, exposed.

This is if (and I have no reason to doubt) what digital strategist Denis Itumbi who runs the Hustler Nation Intelligence Bureau (HNIB), a social media platform linked to President-Elect William Ruto's presidential campaign, reported on Tuesday - a day after Ruto was declared winner - is anything to go by. One can only wonder why Uhuru and his stillbirth handshake administration would be so inherently demonic and reckless to go to such level of a self-serving brinkmanship.

Indeed as an old Swahili adage goes, when the day of the monkey to die finally dawns, all trees turn slippery. But even at that, what will continue to baffle many Kenyans for many days to come, is what is this that could have informed Uhuru and his sycophant minions in the system and the hawkish deep state to take such a risky path at the sunset stage of an otherwise free, fair and credible electoral process. Why continue digging deeper especially after realizing all the earlier schemes had fallen flat on thick sh*t? Doesn't it beat logic?

A satisfying answer may not be readily available today or in future, if it ever does, but as many Kenyans on different social platforms have rightly observed, we now have a bit of clarity as to why the outgoing despot might have been dragged to the International Criminal Court in 2010.

That said, as the dark cloud that threatened to engulf Kenya on the evening of August 15 slowly passes away thanks to IEBC Chairman Wafula Chebukati who stood firm and true to his patriotic duty, Kenyatta's already tattered legacy is now in ruin and will forever remain engraved in infamy. It is done and dusted! Nothing can reverse or mitigate the situation.
