Let There be Darkness! Uhuru's Move Which Has Shattered Ruto's 2022 Dreams

Of the greatest distinctions God ever made was that of separating light from darkness. The former stands for optimism, acceptability and hope with darkness bagging most of known viles and pessimism.

Before Jubilee Coalition's landmark victory in 2013 general elections, William Ruto had little to brag of. Apart from the jinx he had put himself in 2007/2008 elections and chain of corruption related taints, he was typically a nobody.

With networks, resources and family name to his closest, Uhuru Kenyatta was better placed to fly Jubilee Coalition flag between 2013 and 2022 with Ruto deputizing him.

With Jomo's son on the wheel, Daniel Cheruiyot's was to take notes and put them into test. At one time, Uhuru temporarily relinquished his powers to Samoei to give him a glimpse of what it feels to be the country's top man.

Jomo's son who had switched Ruto's 'ON' switch severally promised to return hand in 2022 and this would have illuminated the latter's path even more. All expected of the man from Sugoi was persistence and loyalty but that he traded with a penny.

Anti-Ruto brigade has accused him of his overly ambitious nature which makes him deadly a politician. Francis Atwoli has singularly pinpointed Samoei as an SI unit of impertinence and this must have compounded the fallout between him and his boss.

As John Michuki once put it; If you rattle a snake, be prepared, you will be bitten. To show him who his shaper was, Uhuru has accurately pressed the 'OFF' pattern and Ruto's path is currently laced with total darkeness.

Baba Ng'ina has publicly declared to back a NASA coalition flag bearer in 2022 and this has put Ruto's political life at stake. For decades now, ODM doyen Raila Odinga has been a force to reckon that's without Mt Kenya support, now you guess is as right as mine of what is to befall Ruto should the region give Jakom a back up.

Of 2022 presidential hopefuls, its Jakom who can successfully wrestle Samoei and this Kenyatta II is capitalizing on. To tilt 2022 victory to ODM side, the outgoing commander in-chief will rally his backyard, lend Agwambo government machinations and spare him his quiver. As Chinese war philanthropist Sun Tzu once quipped, he will win he who is well prepared for the duel.
