By Hook or Crook: Why Uhuru's Jubilee Attempts to Win Juja By-Election Through State Terror is Deplorable

That President Uhuru Kenyatta cannot fathom how and why his crumbled Jubilee Party lost two by-elections in his home-turf to parties associated with his rival deputy that he had to unleash State terror during the Juja vote tallying, simply speaks volumes of the man at the helm of State power.

A man whose attempt to cling to power through a fraudulent constitutional amendment process got watered down by the courts a week ago, could never have been this humiliated and rejected from all corners. Blow after blow; all in an unprecedented quick succession.

And in an apparent last minute bid to save face by hook and crook, goons in the name of Kiambu Governor James Nyoro and Woman Rep Gathoni Wamuchomba had to disrupt the vote tallying process at Mang'u High School in an apparent effort to overturn the will of the people under the cover of darkness.

In a statement on Tuesday evening, IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati acknowledged this desperation of the deep state.

"At around 10:20pm tonight there was disruption of the tallying process at Mang’u High School Tallying center in Juja Constituency by a group of individuals led by the Kiambu County Governor Mr. James Nyoro," Chebukati said.

To say the least, this is a direct affront on our democracy and blatant effort by the deep state to trample on the will of the people. The Kitaeleweka losers involved in the melee led by their rejected general, must be made to understand that elections in Kenya can no longer be won at gunpoint.

Should Juja by-election results turn out differently other than what the area voters decided, the hustler nation must rise up to uphold that decision and remind these enemies of democracy and the people, that Kenya is not a police state without a rule of law.
