It’s on the public domain that Jubilee Party is no longer what it used to be years ago when UhuRuto camaraderie was glistening. Ruto and his allies have casted blame on busy bodies and powerbrokers for the woes currently bedeviling the ruling party.
These busy bodies are publicly known,
both by names, gender, physique and languages. JP vice-chair David Murathe and
secretary general Raphael Tuju have severally been named as leading anti-Ruto
crusaders.
Murathe has categorically affirmed that the second in
command stands no chance of inheriting his boss in the forthcoming elections.
On the other edge, Tuju is said to be the force that is hounding pro-Ruto
allies from Jubilee Party’s key positions. Their mission is one; to thwart
William’s presidential course.
How can the duo succeed in decimating Samoei who has proved to be a proverbial cat with nine lives? As Swahili wisemen once put it; Hata chuma hukunjwa. Murathe and Tuju are undoubtedly staking on Kenya’s seasoned political mercenary.
In 2002, Raila Odinga crushed KANU party to ashes and
recordsd are available for asking of political mandarins he gave a political
scare and In case you need references, then take Mwai Kibaki and Uhuru Kenyatta
as case studies.
The controversial former lawmaker has severally held consultative and plan laying meetings with ODM chief and it was during such meetings he publicly called Kenyans to brace themselves for Raila presidency in 2022.
Over the weekend, Murathe in a company of Peter Kenneth and Raphael Tuju
met with ODM leaders Junnet Mohammed and Siaya senator James Orengo in Francis
Atwoli’s abode. The trio (Orengo, Atwoli and Mohammed) are close allies and
confidantes of Raila Odinga.
Staking on their proximity to Jakom, Orengo and Junnet were undoubtedly the emissaries and soon or later, their boss who has all it takes to capsize Ruto’s ship will hit the campaign trail hard. With Mt Kenya’s support, 2022 will be a do or die for Raila and nothing will please David more than seeing Ruto’s shot hitting a squirrel instead of an antelope.
