In one of his tours in the vast Mt Kenya region earlier last year, Uhuru Kenyatta revealed that those he entrusted had morphed out to be hyenas that were hungrily baying for his blood a thing that prompted him to change his tactics.

His sentiments were interpreted as indirect attack to his deputy who had flaunted the opportunity to popularize his 2022 bid. Unlike before when UhuRuto donned matching outfits and crisscrossed the country together, Jomo's son has shortchanged Samoei for Agwambo.

Pro-Uhuru allies have severally affirmed that the outgoing commander in-chief will not hand over the power baton to thieves. To ensure that don't happen, Kenyatta is said to be leveraging the ground to ensure his successor don't have William Samoei Ruto as his official names.

Though William has managed to stand tall amidst political turbulence, his boss scored against him longtime ago and its only a matter of time before he is swept off the path to pave way for Kenya's fifth president.

Uhuru's decision to burry hatchets with his arch rival Raila Odinga in 2018 marked the end of Ruto's presidential course. The Handshake was timely and strategic and hitherto, Anti-Ruto crusaders have managed to deflate Samoei's wheel.

Jomo's son verily knew that Jakom was a bruised man after the dramatic 2017 elections and his end was beckoning, to save him from 'dying' prematurely, he gave him a political lifeline through Handshake and BBI, through this, Baba has jumped back to political stage with a thud.

Those apprised with the country's politics sure knows that without Raila on the ring, Ruto could have had a smooth sail and prevent this, Uhuru had to regurgitate Agwambo to block his deputy from occupying the house on the hill.

In case you thought UhuRaila joined forces to save the country from drowning, then you have to think harder, Raila is a mercenary hired to dismount William's camp and scatter his ambitions that explains why Kenyatta II won't let him go.
