Meet South Rift 'Prophet' Who Accurately Foretold UhuRuto's Fallout; His Second Prophecy Could be Warming up

After months of staging a spirited combat to save their ship from pirates' grip, William Ruto and his lieutenants have swallowed the bitter pill and let go of the ship they took years to build.

UhuRuto fallout will no doubt go down in history as the unprecedented but yet dazzling bromance to have laced the country's political terrain on 21st century. Their schism will sure serve as a practical testimony that politics, is indeed a dirty game.

Though Jubilee Party supporters were looking forward to see Uhuru Kenyatta and William Ruto's political marriage standing the weight of time and tests, one of Ruto's longtime friend and  pioneer of United Republican Party (URP) lucidly foresaw UhuRuto parting ways.

During an interview with Tonny Gachoka of KTN's power blank in May 2019, Chama Cha Mashinani (CCM) leader Isaac Ruto warned the deputy president to be wary of Uhuru Kenyatta and Mt Kenya region at large.

Citing past history where Jomo Kenyatta turned against his comrade Jaramogi Oginga Odinga, Kenneth Matiba against Odinga in earlier 90's and Mwai Kibaki against Raila Odinga, Isaac candidly asserted that the region was highly expected to play all sorts of games before election. Has that come to pass? Absolutely yes.

Since biblical times, a prophet is seldom honoured at his hometown. Isaac's prophecy was spat on by William's loyalists but presently they are gnashing teeth with, 'We wish we knew'.

Uhuru has lately inclined towards Raila Odinga and this has prompted Samoei to singlehandedly steer his ship to anchorage. Mt Kenya is the country's political powerhouse and whoever wants his shot to hit a target must court this vote-rich hub.

In the name of empowering the locals, the deputy president has frequented the area and hitherto, a number of locals have boarded his hustlers' bus but this is set to meet aggression as Jomo's son embarks on reunification process to put his house in order.

Should he succeed to re-unite the daughters and sons of Mumbi and Agikiyu, he will be their ears and mouths and whoever wants their support must pass through him. Among Kenyatta's present ploys is that of ensuring that whoever succeeds him don't have William Samoei Ruto as his name.

Isaac's second prophecy warns William from courting political lightweights who will disappear when the contest begins to shape up. Ruto has placed his political fortunes in the hands of Moses Kuria, Ndindi Nyoro, Alice Wahome, Mohammed Ali among other Tanga Tanga members who are political underdogs. Ruto should join forces with influential figures instead of political newbies and by doing so, his political life will be on the safe hands.
