WATCH LIVE: The Inauguration of Joe Biden as 46th US President

President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris will be taking their oath of office today roughly in the next two hours on the steps of the US Capitol.

President Donald Trump has already left Washington DC and is currently enroute to West Palm Beach Hotel in Florida after a brief farewell speech at Joint Andrews Base in Maryland where he reiterated that the journey he began four years ago has just began.

He vowed a comeback.

Trump becomes the first President since 1869 to skip his successor’s inauguration. His VP, Mike Pence and current Republican congressional leadership will attend Biden’s inauguration ceremony. Former Presidents Bill Clinton (D), George Bush (R) and Barack Obama (D) are also in attendance.
