The University of Nairobi alumnus plunged into the political terrain in 2017 after being nominated as a Legislature.As Kenyans celebrated Christmas, Sankok took to his Facebook page with a heartwarming remark celebrating the input of his father in his life.
He also shared a clip that displayed him introducing his wondrous family to the public.
His feathered appreciation towards his father, in a way, mirrored the birth of Christ and how he was revered despite his father working as a carpenter.
"My father may not be known but he is known by God, he may not have been prominent but created in the image and likeness of God. He is not educated but he is naturally talented. The father of Jesus was never known because he was just a poor carpenter but his son Jesus is celebrated every year by billions of people. I am proud of my obscure background," stated Sankok.
His father delivered a fiery speech drumming support for Ruto's 2022 presidential bid. He stated that Ruto had a hand in Sankok's ascension to power and that ever since he has been praying for him to become the next president.
He further divulged how he struggled to secure bursaries for the lawmaker. According to him, Sankok's disability barred him from getting bursaries that would have allowed him to swiftly go through the patterns of formal education.
