Their relationship has since the fallout turned sour and frosty. Uhuru and his cohorts have joined forces with Raila to dismount Ruto's camp. Mt Kenya region is the powerhouse of the country's politics thanks to their votes richness. The region is also famed for their unity and influence and this Ruto schemingly wanted to disrupt by causing schism which was to see him gaining a portion of the region's votes.

For the second day, Uhuru has held a meeting with the region's leaders among them hundreds of MCA's, former leaders and governors and the message is one; Let us reunite or perish.
William has been staking on Mt Kenya support and should they rally against him, his shot may hit a squirrel in place of an antelope it has lived aiming. However, all is not lost for the man from Sugoi, politics is a game and should he devise an heuristic antidote to counter Uhuru's poison, then his tentacles will keep spreading far and deep.
