William Ruto's Latest Move That is Set to Dampen Raila Odinga's 2022 Chances

Kenyan politics is currently revolving around three political bigwigs. At the nucleus is Uhuru Kenyatta who is set to hang his political boots in nineteen months time. Its his seat Raila Odinga and William Ruto are angling to inherit.

Both Raila and Ruto have equal chances of occupying the house on the hill but the practicality of that lies on how ingenious and casuistic one will be against the other.

Samoei's latest political move has sure got Agwambo unaware and should he slacken to devise a way out, the former is set to give him a rounded beating in the forthcoming election.

Of the strategies the son of Jaramogi was using to  dampen Ruto's chances was by staking on his dalliance with Jubilee party leader Uhuru Kenyatta. The rift between UhuRuto was to divide and cause confusion in Jubilee and to greater heights it did achieve exactly that.

After division has taken roots, Raila was set  to measure William's political weight through the much anticipated referendum. With the Dp leading a No camp and Raila a Yes camp, the outcome would have helped the ODM boss to lay foundation for his political future or form basis for his political exit but that seems to be a foregone process.

William has joined BBI bandwagon and the pre-match between him and Jakom has been cancelled. Ruto's move  can be described as timely and ingenious. All he needs now is to use his chance to mend fences with his boss.

With no ground for Raila's marshals firing missiles against Samoei, the latter would get an ample time to take a rest and reinvent himself. Politics is the game and William is sure playing his well.
