Why William Ruto is a Trojan Horse Disguising as a Poor Man's Savior

Kenya's electoral body is slated to conduct one of the most tumultuous elections in history in few months time. Ruto's presence in the presidential ring has sent sparks across the political divides and his supporters are dying waiting to see him humbling his closest arch rival Raila Odinga.

Hitherto, William has managed to strike a right note and this has resonated well with the country's downtrodden who he seeks to represent. By watermarking himself as Hustler's spokesman, Samoei has projected himself as the savior and its a matter of time before his followers catapults him to echelons of power.

Though it is his constitutional right to be voted for, the son of Sugoi is evidently a trojan horse disguising himself as a savior. Unlike his predecessors who propagated their politics along the ethnic-regional cleavage, Ruto is mobilising and organising his political base along the social-economic conundrum.

As Ruto is playing a poor man's saviour, desperate Kenyans are blindly buying his tale and this is sure a Stockholm syndrome where the oppressed fall in love with their oppressor. Let it be known that William is a part of Jubilee government which has overseen the country tottering on the brink of economic shutdown, unemployment, political despair and corruption.

William is tactically playing victim by projecting UhuRaila as the enemy of the people and by doing so, masses will absolve him of any Jubilee government failure.

The son of Sugoi has initiated a Hustler empowerment programme where he donates washing machines, handcarts, wheelbarrows, motorcycles among other equipments and this is sure meant to blindfold the youths whose present and future Jubilee government has condemned to misery by mismanaging economy.

William is currently in kitchen and what he promises to cook and serve us should he become the head of state in 2022 he can do that now. As his famous quip goes, 'Kenya iko na upungufu wa watu wajinga' but he is taking us for fools.

What happened to millions of jobs he emphatically promised us? What happened to those stadiums he loudly talked about? How many times has his name floated around corrutption scandals?

William can make black look white and make white look black and this has blindfolded his followers who mistake him for a saviour. That magic pill he is promising to introduce to solve pertinent issues that have for years held the country hostage, let him administer it now.
