Two Things Which Will Help William Ruto to Beat Raila Odinga in 2022 Presidential Race

Wherever William Ruto's name is mentioned, what his political fandoms see is an ambitious man who broke his coon to be among the greatest political titans who are currently gracing the country's political sphere.

To borrow the old cliché, the former chicken hawker is a stride away from occupying the house on the hill, having risen from a Member of Parliament, to assistant minister, minister, suspect and now the country's first deputy president.

In his quest to became Kenya's fifth president, William is not leaving anything to a chance. With valuable experience from the former and present presidential candidates, Ruto knows that preparing for a presidential race is different from organising a wedding or rather a funeral ceremony.

The son of Sugoi is slated to wrestle with his  erstwhile political comrade  cum foe Raila Odinga. The latter is also a political operative of his own fashion but as things are, the former has an heuristic plan to teach Agwambo a political lesson.

Unlike Baba who has just started laying basis for his 2022 bid, William has been the candidate since 2013 when he joined forces with Uhuru Kenyatta. Jubilee Coalition's (now Jubilee Party) pre-election pact bound UhuRuto to support each other in a ten-ten year basis. Ruto was to throw his gauntlets behind Uhuru between 2013-2022 after which Jomo's son will reciprocate.

Its evident William had enough time to lay the strongest foundation and this is the reason why his nemesis have failed to dismount his hustler camp. With eight years of planning, it will be an up hill task to Jakom, or what does the book of Matthew 7:24-27 say of the wise and foolish builders?

NASA coalition supporters will live to remember that Raila Odinga did to them in 2017. After braving police brutality, Baba betrayed their course by joining forces with his oppressor. This to millions of his supporters was a daytime betrayal. Though the proceeds of Uhuru-Raila handshake is turning fruitful, Jakom owes his loyal lieutenants and followers an apology if not an explanation.

His co-principals Musalia Mudavadi, Kalonzo Musyoka, Moses Wetangula and Isaac Ruto were sidelined when Jaramogi's son met with Jomo's son. ODM has since disowned existence of any pact between them and the aforesaid co-principals.

Naturally, what goes round comes around, his co-principals may probe to hit back by supporting Baba's greatest competitor William Ruto. Odds are currently pointing to such a possibility and its a matter of time before this theory is assented or dissented. Either way, the disgruntled NASA supporters may avenge against Baba by supporting his enemy.
