Here is the Man Ruto Might Support Should his 2022 Presidential Bid Fail

Though William Ruto is well placed to occupy that which is currently under Uhuru Kenyatta's custody, he should be apprised of the popular aphorism; Life rarely listens to our wishes and incase it does, that's a coincidence.

In life anything is set to happen and nothing explains this concept more clearly like a football analogy where a 'star' may develop physical complications and this forces his coach to replace him with a player who at least matches his statue.

Inarguably, William's presidential course has been met with a stiff opposition from anti-Ruto marshals who have since sworn to stop him at all costs. The trade unionist Francis Atwoli has singularly assured Kenyans that Samoei's name will be practically missing in 2022 presidential ballot box.

Let it be remembered that the son of Sugoi is also a human being and he can buckle under pressure and bolt out of 2022 race. Should this happen, he will predictably throw his gauntlets behind a candidate of his choice as he waits to recuperate and reinvent himself.

Political regrouping has started taking shape and hitherto, Raila Odinga, Uhuru Kenyatta and Kalonzo Musyoka are speaking in one voice with William Ruto and Musalia Mudavadi agitating for consensus. If there is a person who will sure join forces with the DP, then its the ANC party leader.

Speculations have for a while now been doing rounds of a possible Ruto-Mudavadi ticket and its a matter of time before this is substantiated. The duo worked together in KANU and ODM party and the possibility of them working together again is higher than that of Gideon Moi supporting Ruto.

The soft spoken Musalia has a national figure and his style of politics will sure unpolarize Raila-Ruto duel. With William's 'Mudavadi Tosha',  the latter has chances of becoming Kenya's fifth commander in-chief and all he needs is to make this practical  is to  convince 'My Friend' and his former NASA co-principals to support his bid. Will this happen? Politics is the art of possible.
