The invention of WhatsApp has boosted communication among people, whether close or far apart. It presents a platform whereby, after creating an account, anyone can message and make calls across the globe; if their SIM card is loaded with internet bundles.

In messaging, the App allows the sender to see delivery status of their message to the recipient. Unless the latter had prior to the message initiated some privacy settings to prevent the sender from viewing the receipt report, the sender will definitely know whether their message is delivered and read or not. If the receiver reads the message, double blue ticks appear at the bottom right corner of the sender’s text box.

Now, it is fascinating how majority people disgust the blue ticks when the reader to take eternity to respond their text. The feeling becomes worse when the writer treats the message as 'urgent.' Often, blue ticks makes sender outrageous of how recipient ignored their text. Suppose it was a warm chat, the mood dies down and next, the sender prefers to leave the chat for that moment..

Several times, I have fallen victim of blue ticks and they really get to my nerves. Occasionally I would even delete the chat than to see such 'nonsense' around. It feels like the reader dislikes the text thus unwilling to respond. It could happen that, reader is busy or bundles depleted before they could reply the text. Now in that case, once the recipient appears online, the first thing is always to settle the case before anything else. Otherwise, if they continue being online and no response, that is sheer contempt and I cannot swallow my pride for that!
