Education CS George Magoha's predicaments at the high end Education docket after insulting Uasin Gishu County Director of Education Gitonga Mbaka over a school's poor state seems not to be ending anytime soon after the latest move by the Ethics and Anti-corruption Commission.

According to information shared by Soy MP Caleb Kositany via his Twitter handle on Monday evening Mbaka has been summoned by EACC North Rift Regional offices, Eldoret on Wednesday 18th November 2020 from 11.00am where he is supposed to record a statement.

In the Statement shared by Kositany, the EACC officers believe the elderly public servant has information that will help bring Magoha into books for his suspected unethical conduct.

"... the commission has reason to believe that you have information that may assist in investigations ad would like to shed light and record statement on the matter.." the statement read in part quoting the allegations of unethical conduct Cabinet Secretary George Magoha exhibited.

The summoning comes after reports indicated that top profiled senators wanted the Ethics and Anti-corruption Commission to take action against the first time cabinet secretary for his harassement to Mr Mbaka using the Public Officer Ethics Act.

According to a report by the People Daily lawmakers led by Senate Majority leader Samuel Poghisio, Narok Senator Ledama Olekina, Nominated Senator Naomi Shiyonga, her counterpart Gertrude Mushuruve and Abshiro Halakhe not only want EACC take action against Magoha but also want President Uhuru Kenyatta to either suspend or sack the Cs.

It will not only be interesting to see if Mr. Mbaka will honour the summoning but also reading too to know how the high profiled Professor will get himself off the hook. Stay with us.
