Men of great thoughts and deeds have lived before us, their intrigues have been chronicled for posterities and from their wells we fetch and drink gems of their wisdom irrespective of our societal classes.

Sun Tzu was a Chinese philosopher and his book; The Art of War has loads of sage whose religious application will yield nothing but success. William Ruto is currently flexing his muscles ahead of 2022 presidential race. From the look of things its evident that the son of Sugoi is using Sun Tzu's Tactical Disposition strategy to pull a shocker against his political competitors.

According to Tzu, the good fighters of old first put themselves beyond the possibility of defeat and then wait for an opportunity of defeating the enemy.

Despite of numerous missiles unleashed to dismount Ruto's camp, William has refused to fall but instead he has emerged even stronger. In Tzu's words, Ruto built a fortress around him years ago which has come to shield him in the time of need. It can equally be said that his enemies are unleashing their explosives to a wrong fortress, or what explanation do you have why William has failed to fail?

Ruto's generosity and down to earth demeanor has earned him an army of grassroot supporters with his hustlers' narrative auguring well with majority of Kenyans. It will be an uphill task for the 'Dynasty' to dismount this movement.

The chance of securing ourselves against defeat lies in our hands but an opportunity to defeat and enemy is provided by enemy. Hitherto, Ruto has managed to secure himself and his enemies have sure presented him with an opportunity to defeat them.

Uhuru-Raila backed BBI report has given Ruto an opportunity to project himself as people's ambassador and defender. BBI proponents have been casted as selfish leaders  driven by selfish personal interests.

The upcoming referendum will be a pre-match for 2022 elections. Should Ruto's NO team win against the Yes team, this will be a prelude of what is in the offing. Learn your enemy's weakness, invest on them then strike fiercely.

Samoei's enemies have tried to unravel where his weakness lies but hitherto they have got it wrong.Should the dp continue hiding his weakness and capitalizing on his strength, his competitors will live administering right medicine to a wrong disease.
