As the country hurtles towards 2022 elections, eyes will be casted at Statehouse to see who the next occupant will be. On the front line to succeed Uhuru Kenyatta is his deputy William Ruto who is Jubilee party's natural successor according to 2013 pre-election pact.

In the ancient biblical times, prophets played a great role in readying people for the coming of Jesus Christ's reign. Their prophecies came to pass and through Jesus  they are remembered as true prophets.

COTU secretary Francis Atwoli has persistently treated Kenyans with peculiar prophecy. The outspoken anti-Ruto campaigner has called Ruto's supporters to brace themselves for a possible heartbreak since William's name will not be in the ballot come 2022. This he has stated with a mathematical certainty.

The bad blood between the  vocal trade unionist  and  the DP is hinged on the former's belief that Samoei is fond of disrespecting his peers in government and undermining state officials.

Atwoli also has an issue with Ruto's integrity. The latter's name has floated around a number of corruption related scandals among them Maize scandal, Arror and Kimwarer dams saga, land grabbings and fake fire arm deals.

Should the above allegations get justified by court of law, Chapter Six of Kenyan constitution will automatically disqualify Ruto from presidential race. This is one among dozens of scenarios which may erase William's name from presidential ballot.

Other known reasons that may see Ruto's name missing in the ballot box is; death and the candidate's volition not to run. In nineteen months time, Kenyans will be waiting to see if Atwoli's 'prophecy' holds water. And as Jesus absolved the ancient prophets from any blame by living to their messages, its Ruto's victory or loss which will flame Atwoli as a true or false prophet.
