A regular user of OPesa app and who requested to remain anonymous, has told 254 NewsDay that his preference for the app is informed by its flexible loan limits that allow you to borrow exactly what you need during any particular time a financial need requiring immediate attention arises.
"OPesa is very friendly to many borrowers' financial problems especially if you are a low income earner whom other digital lenders would typically turn away when you are in a quick-fix financial situation," said the user on Friday.
Another user from Ruiru and who works as a fruit vendor says that OPesa has been instrumental to the growth and expansion of her fruit business.
"I can ask a supplier 20-minutes away from my business to bring me fruits even when I have no cash in my pocket. But by the time s/he arrives I will already have borrowed some cash from OPesa ready to pay. The app is very quick and reliable," says the fruit vendor.
